About The Authors
Our Story
Jasmine Kazera has always loved to read and write. She remembers going on vacations with her family and reading her favorite books while they drove for hours from one destination to the next. As she got older, traveling became another one of her passions.
Her son, Amari J., became her co-author and inspiration behind creating “Amari on the Go” children’s books. Together, they hope to introduce the world of travel to young children all over the world. They hope to teach people that travel is attainable and show how much fun it can be to learn about new places and cultures.
About The Brand
The ABCs of Travel is the first book in the Amari on the Go series. This series strives to promote diversity not only in children’s books but also in the world of travel. As the mother of a young black boy it is very important to me that he sees himself in, and is able to relate to some of his favorite characters. I want to give other children this same opportunity. We also love to travel and explore together and we want to show families like ours that traveling, no matter how near or far, can be a fun learning experience. We believe in creating great memories over collecting material things and traveling together gives us that opportunity. We encourage you all to join us on our adventures as you read along.
